will provide you with a guide to the wind classification for your area.
Australia is made up of many varied climatic conditions and due to these
variations it is essential that special Categories for sheds be assigned
for specific Regions and site locations. The Australian Standards Association
has introduced a basic breakdown of Regions in relation to wind velocity and
topographic features (See Wind-Rating Map) SHEDS ONLINE have designed and
certified all buildings in accordance with these guidelines and the Building
Code of Australia, and have classified the buildings under the following
Wind Rating Categories.
Non Cyclonic - N2, N3, N4 & N5
Cyclonic - C1, C2 & C3
